Do you have a vehicle you would like to donate to the American Red Cross?

Won't you please consider donating your vehicle to the American Red Cross. All proceeds will help support Red Cross programs and services that provide hope and help to over 68,000 people throughout central Massachusetts each year. Although tax laws have changed in 2005, you still can take a tax deduction of up to $500, or a deduction equal to the actual sale price of your vehicle if it sells for more than $500.

The American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts offers two ways for you to participate in the vehicle donation program. The first is through Sunnyside Motors of Holden, MA. Sunnyside Motors gives the American Red Cross 100% of the gross receipts for each car, truck or van that is donated. Are you eligible for this program? Don't despair ... if your vehicle is not drivable, registered or you cannot deliver the car to Sunnyside motors in Holden, you can contact Linders, Inc. in Worcester. They accept donated cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, boats, and RVs and will provide vehicle pick up, delivery and tax receipts for all acceptable cars. Linders, Inc. can be contacted directly by calling this (508) 756-5125. BE SURE TO MENTION THE AMERICAN RED CROSS OF CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS. Linders, Inc. donates 50% of the net proceeds which directly supports the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts. Linders will provide all donors a receipt stating the actual sales price of their vehicle for their 2007 tax records.
