Phlebotomy Training Program

This course is designed to teach and give hands on training to individuals desiring to enter the field of allied health care. The primary goal is to instill the latest information on blood collection techniques, skills and equipment for a safe and effective specimen collection thus enhancing customer service and promoting patient care.

• Text book
• Lab Coat or Scrubs
• Malpractice Insurance
• PBT (ASCP) exam application fee and Clinical Internship fee.

• A current Physical Exam
• MMR
• Tetanus/Diphtheria booster
• Negative TB results or Chest x-ray within 1 year (cannot expire during class)
• Hepatitis B Vaccine/Antibodies

• Must be 18 years old
• Present a current Photo ID.
• Present HS Diploma or GED
• Must pass reading assessment test (cost $5.00). *** Testing held on Tuesday or Thursday at 10am in Worcester and at 2:00pm in Leominster. No appointment necessary.
• $100.00 Deposit required to hold your place in class.
• A background check must be completed as a pre- condition to participate in the Phlebotomy program.
• Full payment is required 3 weeks before class begins.
• Sign Enrollment Agreement.

• Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM in Worcester (No Appointment Necessary)
• Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM in Leominster (No Appointment Necessary)

• High School diploma or GED

• Class tuition: $ 1,000.00
• A $100.00 deposit is required to hold your seat in the class
• Balance must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to the start of class
• Bank Loan Applications available

Day and Evening classroom sessions take 4-5 weeks to complete. Followed by 3 weeks of ^*Clinical, Monday - Friday, 40 daytime hours a week. (7AM - 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm.)
