Babysitter's Training - $45.00
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course is to provide youth who want to baby sit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Designed for your ages 11 to 15, the course helps participants develop leadership skills, build a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and guide children's behavior. Participants also learn about basic child care and basic first aid. Bring lunch for full day course or snack for half day courses.

Designed for the individual interested in learning Adult CPR and Automated External Defibrillation as well as First Aid. The course includes the skills involved in caring for cardiac and choking emergencies; controlling bleeding, injuries to muscles, bones and joints, sudden illnesses and environmental injuries. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. Certification for CPR/AED is valid for one year and First Aid certification is valid for three years.

This course will train an individual to respond quickly in an emergency for Children from age one year to 12 years and Infants from birth to age one year. The participant will learn CPR and Automated External Defibrillation for a Child plus Infant CPR and First Aid.. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. CPR/AED certification is valid for one year. First Aid certification is valid for three years.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: HSPRO101 - $90.00
Designed for the individual, who has the duty to respond. This course includes Adult/Infant and Child CPR skills with a higher level of training in two-rescuer CPR, use of a bag valve mask and airway management techniques, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Adult and Pediatric AED training. This course is appropriate for EMT's nurses, nursing students, doctors, lifeguards, ski patrollers and police and fire personnel. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. Students will receive a current text and pocket mask. Certification is valid for one year. This course meets all ECC Guidelines 2005.
CPR/AED for the Professional Review: HSPRO101R - $60.00
Designed for the professional rescuer who must re-certify. Student should review skills from a current text. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. Participants are required to bring a pocket mask to class. Certification is valid for one year. This course meets all ECC Guidelines 2005.
Emergency Response: First Responder: #32600 - $245.00
The Emergency Response program is based on the latest advances in first aid and CPR. The curriculum meets and exceeds 1995 Department of Transportation First Responder: National Standard Curriculum as well as ECC 2000 guidelines. This course will include certification in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. The course will include Medical and Trauma Patient Assessment; Airway Management. Managing Soft Tissue Injuries, Bleeding and Shock. Musculoskeletal Injury Management. Environmental and Poisoning Emergencies. Class time will be 35 hours. CPR/AED Professional Rescuer certification is valid for one year. Emergency Response certification is valid for three years. No pre-requisites. Class minimum will be 5 students. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification.

Designed for the 11 YEAR OLD and up who wishes to learn how care for infants and children. Course includes basic first aid, how to respond in an emergency, how to interview, how to handle behavioral problems in a creative way! Participants receive a book, certificate and a Babysitters bag. Bring a snack/lunch if desired!
Basic Aid Training (BAT): #3201 - $35.00
Designed for children who are 8 to 10 years old. BAT teaches basic skills and knowledge necessary for children to identify and prevent potentially harmful situations, to be able to treat common injuries, and to respond in emergency situations. The program emphasizes prevention highlight its importance in reducing injuries. The participants manual uses coloring, games, puzzles for topics such as "All Choked UP", "Ouch", "Cautious Kids", and "Safe Wheels".
Pet First Aid: #9010 - $30.00
Designed for the individual interested in learning the appropriate care for small pets. Cat and dog manikins are used for demonstration. Each participant receives a Pet First Aid manual.
