The EKG technician will be trained to utilize and adjust EKG monitors and understand basic electrocardiograph recordings. The 45hr course will train individuals to become knowledgeable and work or advance their skills in various locations such as hospitals, trauma/emergency rooms, physician offices, medical clinics, and extended nursing care facilities. Student will practice hands on training during lab. Community ADULT CPR with AED is included in this course.

Class Fee: $750.00 includes: Text book, ARC lab fee, ADULT CPR / AED if needed.

Requirements:

Must pass a reading assessment test
$5.00 test fee charge
Current Photo Identification
$100.00 Deposit to hold your seat in the class
Remaining balance must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to the first day of class
High School Diploma/GED

The reading test is given on:

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM at 2000 Century Dr. Worcester, MA (No Appointment Necessary)

Class Schedule

Day and Evening classes are held for 2 weeks, Monday - Friday.

May 19 - May 30 9am - 3:30pm
Jun 30 - July 11 4:30 - 9:30pm

Discount: Attention American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts Phlebotomy or NAT/HHA students receive a $200.00 discount on EKG Training. Discount deducted from 2nd class training.
