Blood inventories within New England are not keeping up with the
demand at the present time.
Currently, the New England Blood Services Region is not able to
fill all the blood orders coming in from our hospitals.
Patients like little Benjamin are counting on YOU to make sure no
one has to go without this lifesaving medicine.
Memorial Day is coming up - a time when the challenge of collecting enough blood will be even greater since many people will be away during the week and over the long holiday weekend.
You Can Make A Real Difference
- Make donating blood a personal priority in advance of Memorial Day weekend.
- Urge fellow employees, friends, family members and customers to make an appointment to donate blood now.
- Once an appointment is made, let them know how important it is to keep that appointment.
- Challenge other businesses and organizations to get involved.
