Oxford Community Center And Red Cross Team Up To Save Lives!

We are pleased to announce that the Oxford Community Center has opened a satellite American Red Cross Training Center for residents in the southern portion of our jurisdiction. The Community Center will offer Adult CPR w/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Courses, Community First Aid and Safety w/AED as well as Babysitter Training Courses at their facility located at 4 Maple Road, in Oxford, MA.

"We are so excited to be able to pilot a satellite training center in such a wonderful community," stated Lisa A. Piehler, executive director of the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts. "The Oxford Community Center site will give residents of Oxford and surrounding towns the opportunity to participate in trainings for which they would normally have to travel to Worcester. As the program takes off, we will expand the selection of courses to best fit the needs of the community." Piehler added.

Individuals interested in participating in the courses are encouraged to register directly through the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts. To register and prepay for any class, please call 508-595-3700. For more information or to see the calendar of American Red Cross classes for Central Massachusetts please visit our website at www.redcrossworcester.org or www.oxfordcommunitycenter.com.
